Percy Miller to launch TV network

Percy Miller, BBTV’s Chairman & CEO
To provide positive viewing for the black community, P. Miller is set to launch the Better Black Television (BBTV) network. BBTV is a family-friendly cable network due to be launched in 2009.
The content on the channel will contain a wide arrangement from health and fitness, animation, financial planning, reality TV, sitcoms, dramas, movies, responsible hip-hop music and videos, politics, sports and entertainment news, educational children’s shows as well as teen and family programming.
The networks board members include Oscar-winner Denzel Washington, rap pioneer Dj Kool Herc and NBA basketball player Derek Anderson.
“I’m excited to be able to expose the urban community to a vast array of jobs in the entertainment community that they might not otherwise be privy to,” said MIller. “It’s extremely important to feed clean, quality, and positive subject matter to our families.” he added.
To reflect his maturity Miller, recently changed his name from Master p, to P. Miller. His growth can be reflected in his other business ventures such as a no cursing record label (Take a Stand Record), youth centers and an affordable clothing line available at WalMart. He attributes his name change to wanting to be taken more seriously in corporate America.
Miller, has also published a book ‘Guaranteed Success When You Never Give Up‘ and was recently honored by Memphis, Tennessee Mayor Willie Herenton by being awarded the keys to the city for his work in the community.
